Award-winning Essex printer buys a Mini 76 TPHS Laminator

Southend-on-Sea, Essex – May 1, 2013 – Solopress, one of the UK’s leading online printing companies, are pleased to announce the addition of a new Autobond Mini 76 TPHS Laminator to our growing range of high-quality print finishing machinery. This £110,000 investment by Solopress is just another step in the company’s journey to becoming the UK’s No. 1 online commercial printer.

Founded by Andy Smith and Aron Priest in 1999, Solopress are now the printers of choice for more than 80,000 customers in London, Essex and across the rest of the UK. We run our two Xerox iGen4 digital presses and five Heidelberg Speedmaster SM 74 lithographic presses 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year. Lamination is a coating applied to printed material to give protection, as well as a smooth finish, to the overall finished product. With a maximum production speed of 60 meters per minute, Autobond’s Mini 76 TPHS Laminator can handle a multitude of paper types and weights ranging from 90gsm to 650gsm. Solopress will use the Mini 76 to apply a gloss or matt laminate to a variety of our products including business cards, brochures, flyers and folders.
